A weekend to…

Hello, hello!!

After some hectic months, I’m finally having some days off this week, especially on this weekend. So what’s better than a hot popcorn, a warm blanket and some classic movies to (re)watch? Then, once I was missing so much in these days my favorite person at all, Audrey Hepburn, I’m re-watching (on a marathon, of course!) some of her movies from 60’s…

The chosen was: “Charade” (1963), a Stanley Donen movie, also starred by Cary Grant; “Paris when it sizzles” (1963), also starred by William Holden, this movie had such special participation of Marlene Dietrich, Mel Ferrer (Audrey’s first husband) and Tony Curtis; and “Two for the road” (1967), another Stanley Donen movie, this time co-starred by Albert Finney. Here we go!!

Happy Birthday To…

Hello! Today is a very special day to Old Hollywood fans: two beloved actresses from this Era are having birthday today!

The first one is Olivia de Havilland (July 01, 1916 – ) who is 101 years old today! She is best known for starring the movie “Gone With the Wind” (1939), but also starred other memorable movies such “Hold Back the Dawn” (1941), “To Each His Own” (1946), “The Snake Pit” (1948) and “The Heiress” (1949).

The another actress is Leslie Caron (July 01, 1931 – ) who is 86 years old today! She’s the eternal MGM dancer-star, starring movies as “An American in Paris” (1951), “Lili” (1953) and “Gigi” (1958).

I wish a very special Happy Birthday to them! ❤

Now, let me know: what’s your favorite movies starred by them?
